Skills and Competencies
Throughout the program, students will acquire a diverse range of skills and competencies essential for success in the dental hygiene field. These skills include oral health assessment, preventive dental care, dental radiography, instrument sharpening and sterilization, patient education, and dental hygiene treatment planning. Students will also develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as effective communication skills to interact with patients, dental professionals, and other healthcare providers.
