Booking Procedures and Restrictions
Booking a flight with a student discount on Air India’s website is a straightforward process. To begin, visit the Air India website and select the “Book” tab. Enter your travel details, including your origin, destination, travel dates, and the number of passengers. On the next page, select the “Student Discount” option under the “Fares & Discounts” section.
Applying the Discount Code
Once you have selected the “Student Discount” option, you will be prompted to enter your student ID number or upload a copy of your student ID card. After verifying your student status, Air India will apply the student discount to your flight fare. The discount will be reflected in the total fare amount.
Blackout Dates and Restrictions
Student discounts may not be available on all flights or during certain blackout dates. Blackout dates vary depending on the route and time of year. To check if a student discount is available for your desired flight, please contact Air India’s customer service department.
