National Certification
The national certification examination administered by the ARRT assesses the knowledge and skills of aspiring radiologic technologists. It covers various aspects of radiologic technology, including patient care, radiation protection, image production, and procedures specific to different imaging modalities.
Preparing for the national certification examination is an integral part of the program at St. John’s University. The curriculum aligns with the content areas outlined by the ARRT, ensuring that students are well-prepared to succeed in the examination. State Licensure
In addition to national certification, the program also prepares students for state licensure. Each state has its own requirements for licensure, and the program’s curriculum aligns with the standards set by the state licensing boards.
