Clinical Rotations
Clinical rotations are a vital component of the Rush University Nurse Anesthesia Program, as they provide students with hands-on experiences in real-world healthcare settings. Under the guidance of experienced clinical preceptors, students gain exposure to various anesthesia subspecialties and patient populations.
During clinical rotations, students have the opportunity to administer anesthesia, monitor patients, and participate in perioperative care. They work alongside anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and other members of the healthcare team, fostering collaborative skills and interprofessional communication.
