Didactic Courses
The didactic portion of the curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation in anesthesia principles and practice. Students engage in courses such as Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology, Pharmacology for Nurse Anesthesia, Principles of Anesthesia Practice, and Anesthesia Management. These courses provide a deep understanding of anesthesia techniques, patient assessment, and perioperative care.
Throughout the didactic phase, students are also introduced to various anesthesia subspecialties, including obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiothoracic, and neurosurgery. This exposure allows students to develop a broad knowledge base and prepares them for the diverse clinical experiences they will encounter during their education.
