Simulation Scenarios
The simulation scenarios conducted in the Clinical Simulation Center are carefully designed to reflect real-world clinical situations that nurse anesthetists may encounter. These scenarios encompass a variety of surgical procedures, patient populations, and anesthesia challenges.
Students work in teams, collaborating with their peers to manage the simulated patient’s anesthesia care. They practice critical skills such as patient assessment, medication administration, airway management, and crisis management. These simulations help students develop their clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
Debriefing and Feedback
Following each simulation scenario, students engage in debriefing sessions facilitated by faculty members and simulation educators. These debriefings provide an opportunity for reflection, discussion, and constructive feedback on students’ performance during the simulation.
