Program Structure: Princeton Africa Fellowship
The Princeton Africa Fellowship is a three-year program designed to provide young African scholars with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to become leaders in their fields and contribute to the development of Africa. The program includes a residential component at Princeton University, an online component, and a research component.
During the residential component, fellows will take courses in African studies, public policy, and leadership. They will also have the opportunity to conduct research with Princeton faculty and participate in internships with African organizations. The online component of the program will provide fellows with access to Princeton’s online courses and resources. The research component of the program will allow fellows to conduct research on topics of their choice, with the guidance of a Princeton faculty mentor.
Mentorship and Support
Fellows will be assigned a faculty mentor who will provide them with guidance and support throughout the program. Fellows will also have access to a network of African scholars and professionals who can provide them with advice and support.
