Both the Ohio State Scholars Program and University Honors offer study abroad programs that allow students to gain a global perspective and immerse themselves in different cultures. These programs partner with international institutions and offer a wide range of study abroad options, including semester-long exchanges, summer programs, and faculty-led trips. Studying abroad provides students with an opportunity to broaden their horizons, develop intercultural competence, and gain a deeper understanding of global issues.
Global Learning Experiences
In addition to study abroad programs, both programs offer global learning experiences that expose students to diverse perspectives and global challenges. Capstone Projects
Both the Ohio State Scholars Program and University Honors require students to complete a capstone project as a culmination of their academic journey. These capstone projects provide students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge, conduct independent research, and make original contributions to their fields of study. The Ohio State Scholars Program offers a wide range of capstone options, including research papers, creative projects, and community engagement initiatives. The University Honors Program also provides dedicated capstone seminars and supports students in developing their research projects.
