Award Selection
The scholarship selection process is highly competitive, and only the most qualified applicants will be awarded scholarships. A committee of faculty and staff will review all applications and select recipients based on the following criteria:
- Academic achievement
- Financial need
- Leadership potential
- Community involvement
Appeals or Reconsideration
Students who are not awarded a scholarship may appeal the decision. Appeals must be submitted in writing to the scholarship committee within 30 days of the notification date. The appeal should include a statement explaining why the student believes they should be awarded a scholarship and any additional documentation that supports their claim.

Continuing to receive scholarship support beyond the initial award period typically requires students to maintain eligibility and apply for renewal. Each scholarship program may have its own specific renewal criteria, so it’s crucial for students to understand the conditions and requirements associated with their scholarships.
