Grants and Financial Aid
In addition to scholarships, Eastern University’s Accelerated Nursing Program participates in federal and state grant programs, such as the Pell Grant and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). These grants are awarded based on financial need and do not require repayment. Students may also be eligible for federal student loans and work-study programs to further assist with their educational expenses.
External Scholarship Opportunities
Eastern University encourages students to explore external scholarship opportunities from professional organizations, foundations, and community groups. There are numerous scholarships available specifically for nursing students, which can provide additional financial support. The university’s financial aid office can provide guidance and resources to help students identify and apply for these external scholarships.
Financial Aid Counseling
Eastern University’s financial aid office offers individual counseling sessions to assist students in understanding their financial aid options and navigating the application process. Financial aid advisors can provide personalized guidance and help students create a comprehensive financial plan for their nursing education. They are dedicated to ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to fund their education.
