Curriculum
The MSHS program consists of core courses that provide students with a broad understanding of health sciences, including healthcare systems, epidemiology, and healthcare ethics. Students also have the opportunity to choose elective courses that align with their interests and career goals. These elective courses may focus on areas such as healthcare policy, health informatics, or global health. The program may also include a practicum or internship, where students gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.
Master of Arts in English (MAE)
Program Overview
The Master of Arts in English program at ECSU is designed for individuals who have a passion for literature and a desire to further their understanding of the English language. This program offers specializations in areas such as literature, creative writing, and linguistics. Through a combination of coursework and independent research, students in the MAE program develop advanced analytical and communication skills.
Admission Requirements
Applicants to the MAE program must have a bachelor’s degree in English or a related field from an accredited institution and a minimum GPA of 3.0. They must also submit a completed application form, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a writing sample showcasing their ability to analyze and interpret literary texts.
