Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Donald M. Payne Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of an African country.
- Hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as public policy, international relations, development studies, or a related discipline.
- Have at least three years of professional experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a commitment to peace and development.
- Possess strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate others, build consensus, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Be fluent in English and have a strong command of written and verbal communication skills.
