Types of Dickinson Merit Scholarships
Dickinson College offers a range of merit scholarships to recognize and support exceptional students. These scholarships vary in their requirements, benefits, and application processes.
Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship is the most prestigious merit scholarship awarded by Dickinson College. It is a full-tuition scholarship that is renewable for four years. To be eligible for the Presidential Scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.9 or higher, an SAT score of 1500 or higher, or an ACT score of 34 or higher. Students must also demonstrate exceptional leadership, extracurricular involvement, and community service.
Dean’s Scholarship
The Dean’s Scholarship is a half-tuition scholarship that is renewable for four years. To be eligible for the Dean’s Scholarship, students must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher, an SAT score of 1450 or higher, or an ACT score of 32 or higher. Students must also demonstrate strong academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, and community service.
