Clinical Phase
The final year of the program is dedicated to the clinical phase, where students engage in clinical clerkships in various medical specialties. This phase allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience in a supervised clinical setting.
Core Clerkships:
Students rotate through core clerkships, including internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, psychiatry, and family medicine. These clerkships provide exposure to different specialties, allowing students to explore their interests and gain a comprehensive understanding of various areas of medicine.
Elective Clerkships:
In addition to core clerkships, students have the opportunity to select elective clerkships based on their personal interests and career goals. These elective clerkships allow students to deepen their knowledge in specific areas and gain exposure to specialized fields of medicine.
