Level II Fieldwork
As students progress in their education, they engage in Level II fieldwork placements. These longer and more intensive experiences allow students to take on a more active role in delivering occupational therapy services under the supervision of licensed therapists. Level II fieldwork provides students with the opportunity to develop and refine their clinical skills in diverse practice settings.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Augusta University recognizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare. The OT program provides opportunities for students to work alongside students from other healthcare disciplines, such as physical therapy, nursing, and speech therapy. This collaboration prepares students for the reality of interprofessional teamwork in their future careers.
